Samantha Soramaki HBA, J.D.
A lifelong resident of Thunder Bay, Samantha is committed to serving her community. She earned her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with First Class Standing from Lakehead University and went on to study law at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law.
Samantha joined White Macgillivray Lester as a summer student during her first year of law school and remained with the firm throughout her studies, including her Practice Placement.
In addition to her legal work, Samantha has volunteered at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, where she was honoured with the President’s Award of Excellence for her service. Her experience at the Regional helped her develop a deep sense of compassion and empathy for individuals navigating challenging and often life-altering circumstances. This experience gives her a unique perspective working in the field of personal injury and insurance law.
Outside of the office, Samantha enjoys experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, exploring new travel destinations and unwinding with a good documentary.
